BESD-BİR Appoints New Chairman of the Board of Directors

Following the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association of Poultry Industrialists and Breeders (BESD-BİR) held on November 5, 2020, Naci Kaplan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of As Ofis A.Ş. and a member of the Board of Directors of BESD-BİR, became the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Poultry Industrialists and Breeders (BESD-BİR), representing the poultry meat sector at the highest level in Turkey for about 9 years with success and great devotion, was held on November 5, 2020 at 02:00 p.m. after the resignation of Dr. Sait Koca, who has been the General Manager of Beypi A.Ş. for 9 years with  great success.  Following his acceptance by the Board of Directors at the meeting held, Naci Kaplan, Vice-President of the Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Directors of BESD-BİR, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BESD-BİR. Süleyman Öztürk will continue to be Vice President and Faik Üçer will continue to be a treasurer of the Board of Directors. Sait Koca and Onur Özkul, the other two members of the Board of Directors, will also continue their duties.

Naci Kaplan, who will hold the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors until the 19th Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Poultry Industrialists and Breeders to be held in 2021, said the following statements regarding his duty: “I am pleased to work for our Union, which has represented the poultry meat sector for 27 years without any disruption and has provided many added value for the sector to date. It is exciting for me to be the chairman of the board of directors today in the organization that I have been a member of. With the support of our Board of Directors, members and stakeholders, we will continue to work to improve our sector,".
